What is Tracking & Update?



With Tracking & Update feature, you can monitor and update the cost and stock of your products in real-time. Zopi syncs the cost and stock of your products with AliExpress every 24 hours, so you always have the latest information.

How to set up Tracking & Update



Steps



Login to Zopi, go to Product Center and click Product setting.

Find the Tracking & Update part.

Decide what to do when your supplier changes products.

For a product out of stock or no longer available, choose to Do nothing, or Set as draft on store.

For a variant out of stock or no longer available, choose to Do nothing, or Set quantity to zero on store.

For the supplier who increases the price, input your desired percentage change and choose to Do nothing or Update price based on "Pricing rule".

4 Click Save once done with the settings.


How to check Tracking & Update



1. Notification



With the Tracking & Update feature, you will get notified about changes to product SKUs, inventory and price. When you check notifications, you can keep track of the status of your supplier products so you can adjust them accordingly. You can view and manage the notifications in the Notification Center, learn more here.


2. Automatic inventory update



Tracking & Update allows you to get notified about the changes based on your settings. If a product becomes out of stock or is no longer available on AliExpress, you can configure your Shopify store to automatically set the product to draft status. Additionally, if a specific variant of a product is out of stock and unavailable, you can automate your store to update the corresponding variant's quantity to zero. This ensures that your store remains accurate and up-to-date with the latest inventory status from your supplier.

When you are notified of these events, you also can take appropriate action to update your product status:

Product variant/Supplier SKU has changed: When a product variant is deleted, or its SKU or name is changed, our system will automatically unlink it from the supplier in the app. This allows you to remap the variant and update any new changes from the supplier. Product out of stock: If a product is out of stock but still available on AliExpress, the supplier may update the stock number at any time. In such cases, our system will not change the stock status in the app. Your product will remain listed in this situation.

3. Automatic price update



Another thing you could set is the price. Whenever the suppliers increase their prices to a certain percentage of your choosing, you can set for your Shopify products to automatically update the prices based on the Pricing rules. Learn more about Pricing rules here.
