Cancel An Order and Refund/Return Policy on AliExpress

Sometime, you might have to cancel a dropshipping order. Maybe your customer changed their mind, or you discovered that your supplier doesn't have the product in stock.

But how exactly do you cancel an order on AliExpress? And what do you do if a customer asks for a refund?

How to cancel an order from AliExpress



Steps



Go to the AliExpress website > Log in to your AliExpress account > My Orders.


Find the order which you want to cancel.

Select Order Detailsand click Cancel order.




On the Order cancellation page, choose a reason why you want to cancel the order and click Submit.


In the Pop-up, click Confirm.


If your cancellation request is approved, your supplier will NOT ship the order, and the transaction will be cancelled automatically. Then you will get an email notification about the order cancellation.

What do you do if a customer asks for a refund?



The first step is to take care of the customer by promptly responding to their refund request with a polite and professional message. Acknowledge their concern and assure them that you will handle it efficiently.

AliExpress has a good protection system with a full money-back guarantee. For most orders, you can apply for a refund within 90 days after the order was placed. For each order, you can check your refund policy on "Free return" on the order detail page. To open a return/refund request on AliExpress, follow these steps:

Log in to your AliExpress account.

Navigate to My Orders and find the order you want to return.

Click on Return/Refund next to the order details.

Select the reason for the return and upload any supporting information (photos, videos, etc.).

Submit the request and wait for AliExpress to review and approve it.

Once approved, you'll receive instructions on how to return the item and get your refund.

The method of the refund relies on the method of payment. For instance, if you used a credit card to pay, the refund will be processed to the same card with which the payment was made.
