How to fix failed orders missing phone pumber due to AliExpress Regulations?
Phone number is always required by AliExpress while fulfilling the order. Without it, you will receive an error message Correct the customer address, and the order cannot be placed with your supplier. If you have failed orders with phone number issues, check below to learn how to fix them and avoid them in the future.
Login to Zopi > Order center.
Access the Failed tab and select the order.
In the order details page, click on Edit customer info.
In the Tel box, enter the customer's phone number.
Click Save and then reorder.
To prevent order failures due to missing customer phone numbers, you can use a default number. Set this up in your Shopify store in advance to comply with AliExpress' phone number requirements.
Login to Shopify > Settings > Checkout.
Scroll to the Customer information section.
Under Shipping address phone number, click Required.
Click Save.
Now your customers will be required to fill in their phone numbers when they checkout in your store.
