Fix Failed Orders Missing Phone Number due to AliExpress Regulations

Phone number is always required by AliExpress while fulfilling the order. If you have failed orders with phone number issues, check below to learn how to fix them and avoid them in the future.

How to fix failed orders in Zopi



Steps



Login to Zopi > Order center.

Access the Failed tab and select the order.



In the order details page, click on Edit customer info.



In the Tel box, enter the customer's phone number.



Click Save and then reorder.

How to avoid failed orders in the future



To correspond to the AliExpress phone number requirements, initiate the setup in your Shopify store in advance.

Steps



Login to Shopify > Settings > Checkout.



Scroll to the Customer information section.

Under Shipping address phone number, click Required.



Click Save.

Now your customers will be required to fill in their phone numbers when they checkout in your store.
